WESTEROSE, ALBERTA - Irvin Goodon Industries Ltd. is pleased to announce that metal pricing has finally stabilized after several seasons of volatility. “Sales are strong for the 2009 season, and we have more crews ready to build the riding arena, insulated shop or machine shed of your dreams” says co-owner Trevor Hicks. In addition to this settling in metal pricing, Goodon Industries have also taken yet another step to ensure they are at the top of the competition in post frame construction by exclusively providing a higher quality of metal than anyone else in the industry. They use only .0150 metal, making a Goodon building the best building available.
With an exceptionally strong, skilled workforce and sales staff located in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta including Crossfield, Olds, Westerose, Stony Plain, and Vermilion Goodon Industries Ltd. is ready and able to provide customers with an efficient and cost effective option. Hicks says that because their labor force is so strong right now, their wait times are shorter, and because their crews are so experienced and efficient, the average building is built in 2 days. He says they are still accepting orders for buildings for summer and fall construction but advises they are usually booked up in busier areas like Calgary and Edmonton by the end of summer.
Hicks also wanted to take the opportunity to clear any misconceptions regarding the former partner of Goodon Industries Ltd., Irvin Goodon. Although he was the founder of the company in the 1960’s, Irvin Goodon has not been a part of the company for the past 5 years when he sold his shares of the company to the current owners. His vision for post frame construction has certainly earned him integrity as one of the pioneers of the industry, despite the fact that he has not had an active role in the evolution and growth of Goodon Industries over the past few years.
